I often look to historical figures for inspiration for my designs, which is why I am particularly interested in the history of fashion.
My senior thesis collection is inspired by farm life culture. I utilized silhouettes that remind me of the look of farm girls and based my designs on the clothes of the traditional farm worker. The pairing of plaid and leather is a very unique combination to me, but it emulates the feeling of the farm.
