The Best Looks from the 2015 Met Ball

Every May the steps leading up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City are carpeted in vermilion for a day for the plethora of diamond heeled feet that will grace them. While some may dub the Costume Institute’s Met Ball “the Oscars of fashion”, which it most certainly is, more importantly it is a day all that glitz and sparkle is dedicated towards supporting the museum to continue to produce fashion exhibitions like it’s upcoming “China: Through the Looking Glass”.  This year’s exhibition will focus on the Chinese influence on Western fashion. Guests who score the highly coveted and highly valued tickets to the Met Ball are expected to dress according to theme. While some follow these rules, others break them.
