Azalea Boutique and OBEY Clothing hosted a shopping and mixer event in budding SF fashion hot-spot Hayes Valley.
On the evening of February 27th, Azalea Boutique and OBEY Clothing gathered a refreshingly varied group of some of the hippest, most stylish San Francisco socials to mix and mingle over a selection of brews provided by Firestone Beer and shop OBEY’s covetable streetwear.
Each guest was greeted at the door by Azalea’s warm staff, each of whom were dressed as though they belonged in a Tommy Ton street style photograph. OBEY’s own in-house DJs spun eclectic mixes of music for the night, which provided an even more welcoming environment for guests to settle in.
Not only were OBEY pieces available to shop, but Azalea’s well grouped selection of trend pieces were also available for guests to browse and buy. Diverse offerings ranged from cozy knits to printed soft pants and enticing accessories.
Although the store featured mainly womenswear items, the creative outfits of the male guests and the prevalence of menswear inspiration in women’s looks truly stood out. Guests’ styles were varied yet perfectly complementary; some favored traditional menswear tailoring, while others went for a more lax, streetwear-inspired looks.
The evening was a compilation of many major influences in style and expression. Through music, personal style and fashion, Azalea Boutique and OBEY Clothing created an open and encompassing environment for guests to soak in the newest trends, network a bit and enjoy the music and enjoy being immersed in fashion.
