Inspirare is a new San Francisco-based online platform looking to nurture the next generation of emerging fashion designers. Their goal is to help talented individuals find a better way to reach their customers, gain exposure, and form a solid foundation from which to launch their label. They’re passionate about creativity and great design and want to help young designers take their ideas to the next level!
The Inspirare design competitions open up a dialogue between designers and consumers – allowing the public to vote for the designs that they think should be produced. Not only does this enable customers to decide on the products that are available to them, it also provides insightful feedback to designers and labels.
Voting for Inspirare’s inaugural design competition began on June 1st, so head over to the site and vote for your favorite looks – there are even a few by School of Fashion alums! Public voting is open until June 7th, after which a panel of judges will decide on the final pieces that will go into production. We can’t wait to see the first round of products in the Inspirare shop!
