Academy of Art University Styling Network Meet-Up
WHEN: Wednesday, February 13th from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM
WHERE: Urban Knights Art Café at 655 Sutter Street
The Academy of Art University Styling Network is a place for you to meet stylists, photographers, designers, and make-up and hair artists from the University and greater San Francisco area. You can network, find others to collaborate with, discuss your upcoming projects, and tips and tricks of the trade. Be sure to like the Facebook page and we hope to see you there!
Gladys Perint Palmer Reports on Paris Haute Couture and Conducts a Special Illustration Workshop
WHEN: Wednesday, February 20th from 10-10:30 AM and 10:30 AM to 2:50 PM
WHERE: The Atrium at 625 Polk Street
Gladys Perint Palmer, School of Fashion Executive Director, shares her stories from the Spring/Summer 2013 Paris Haute Couture Shows, which she recently attended. And after, students will be treated to an illustration workshop with model/performance artist Anastazia Louise, in dramatic costume. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from one of the most talented illustrators in the fashion industry!
Beyond the Front Row’s First General Meeting + Social Mixer for the Spring ’13 Semester
WHEN: Thursday, February 28th from 6:30 to 9:00 PM
WHERE: Urban Knights Art Café at 655 Sutter Street
The student fashion club, Beyond the Front Row, will host their first general meeting and member sign-up/renewal for the semester, followed by their Spring ’13 social mixer and club kickoff! There will be a live DJ, snacks, beverages, and BtFR Red Carpet photos–dress to impress! Beyond the Front Row is not limited to fashion students – all AAU students are welcome!
