Having a Moment with Steve McQueen

Steve McQueen still remains an All-American icon mainly because — well — he was the epitome of the All-American male. Primarily known for his role in Bullitt and as one of the “it” boys of the late ’50s and well into the ’60s, he wasn’t one of those template pretty boys. He was manly. He was stylish. He was fearless. And as an avid motorcycle and car enthusiast, he was one of the first Hollywood leading males who wasn’t afraid to get dirty.

People didn’t dub him “The King of Cool” for nothing.
