Alison Vois’ design honored by The Costume Institute…and is on display at The Met!

Fashion School Daily has been refreshing every feed non-stop for the faux-hawed, spiked, and studded images of last week’s punked out red carpet at the annual Costume Institute Gala in New York. One of the most anticipated nights in the fashion industry, the event celebrates the Metropolitan Museum of Art‘s spring exhibition, this year’s theme being “PUNK: Chaos to Couture”.

For 2013, the Costume Institute’s Fashion Design Competition selected Academy of Art University student, Alison Vois as one of six finalists to be featured in the exhibition. Tomorrow, her work will be on display at the Met’s event, which will include a workshop by jewelry designer Eddie Borgo, tours, and much more! The winner of the contest will be announced, as well as a “fan favorite” for the evening.

Congratulations Alison, and best of luck!
