My senior thesis collection is inspired by the intensity that comes with living in a fast-paced city like urban San Francisco. Seeking solace from the pressures of city living, I looked toward the eaves of tree houses as an environment for protection and comfort. I combined stiff fabrics with organza to emulate the modern city woman, with a hard exterior but still soft and feminine. As a designer, I enjoy deconstructing clothing pieces and reorganizing them into multiple designs with 3D, architectural elements.
