My senior thesis collection is inspired by a Chinese song called “Light” about school bullying. I combined simple patterns and rich textures throughout the collection. Using a heat gun, I was able to manipulate tulle to simulate the texture of the surface of water. With hand embroidery and felt details, my looks are a representation of those who suffer from bullying in school.
