Earlier this week, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced the three newest additions to their board, currently led by  CFDA President Diane von Furstenberg. The latest members to be extended this high honor in American fashion are  The Row’s Ashley OlsenPrabal Gurung and Kate Spade’s Deborah Lloyd.

The announcement was made at the board’s biannual membership meeting on Monday, and the three designers will replace Yeohlee Teng, Isabel Toledo and recent School of Fashion guest Kenneth Cole, who have all assumed emeritus board member status.

The CFDA is a not-for-profit trade association whose mission is to strengthen the influence and success of American designers in the global economy, so the appointment marks a significant career acheivement for all three designers!
