My senior thesis collection is inspired by sleep. I am particularly interested in the differences between sleeping and waking human body activities. Based on this idea, I started to conduct a lot of research and experimented with combining pillow quilts with thermal fabric that changes color depending on the temperature. At about 27 degrees Celcius, the fabric starts to turn from black to green. The pillow-like forms allow the wearer to be able to have a good rest anytime and anywhere.
What makes my collection special is the fabrics I use and what I want to express. On the fabric, I chose areas that can be controlled according to the warmth of the body. Secondly, I want to express my opinion about sleep. Modern young people spend a lot of time on various things, often neglecting the importance of sleep, which could lead to health problems. Throughout all of my designs, I incorporate pillow-like elements to make the wearer feel comfortable.
