The San Francisco Street Style Awards brought out a group of some of the city’s most well known fashion enthusiasts to celebrate greatness and diversity in personal style.
The iCu Network, in collaboration with San Francisco-based magazine Fashion Exchange and the ever-dapper and popular blog The Avant Gardist, hosted the first annual San Francisco Street Style awards on June 27. Held at one of San Francisco’s most frequented venues, The Cellar, this ceremony celebrated and awarded the city’s style elite.
The honorees ranged from a men’s stylist to a vintage clothing and accessory collector and vendor, emphasizing an appreciation for individuals with varied paths all united by the spirit of the San Francisco start-up scene.
The ceremony was also a prime networking setting for those seeking more connectivity in the Bay Area fashion world and beyond; an icebreaker game at the beginning of the event helped introduce like-minded fashion industry professionals. Local vendors were in attendance promoting their respective brands, and one of iCu’s own make-up artists who is often used for their fashion shows was even giving free makeovers to guests!
Guests were decked out in their most trend-forward attire and really represented the evening’s theme of street style. Staying true to the Bay Area aesthetic, the San Francisco Street Style awards acknowledged pure individuality and diversity and gave significant reason to celebrate both.
