Description: Kenneth Bergfeld, Cécile B Evans, Matthew Angelo Harrison, Josh Kline and Lynn Hershman Leeson present a group piece at the Jessica Silverman Gallery. The exhibition is a comment on how social media has woven its way into our representation of our “selves.” Using paintings, 3D printed sculptures, a written essay by Pamela Lee, and many more mediums, the group examines the politics of portraiture.

Description: Algerian born painter, Driss Ouadahi showcases his fifth solo exhibit at the Hosfelt Gallery. Breach in the Silence showcases Ouadahi’s studies of architecture and painting through large renderings of chain-length fences. This body of work, influenced by his experience with Syrian and Iraqi refugees in Germany, examines to “otherness” and dividing power of fences.
