This Friday, December 14th, join Beyond the Front Row as they present: Runway Repurposed.
Runway Repurposed is a showcase of design 2 students’ final garments, made using only up-cycled / repurposed materials. Designers’ repurposed garments will be modeled in Café Dior and the main foyer at 625 Polk Street. Followed by a presentation discussing fashion sustainability. In partnership with Recology SF, a zero-waste service specializing in a resource ecosystem for waste collection, as well as the Material ConneXion Library, students will be able to hear from a zero-waste specialist as well as touch, feel, and experience a selection of sustainable materials provided by Material ConneXion.
Use this opportunity to connect, learn, and become a conscious fashion consumer.
