My father’s childhood working on my grandpa’s cattle farm in Jalisco, Mexico, inspired my collection. I focused on the functionality and design of Western saddle bags, which are featured on the saddles of workhorses. The main fabrics used in my collection are embossed leather, hand-woven cotton fabric from Guatemala, and other Mexican-inspired materials with a beautiful and vibrant sunset color palette such as red, orange, brown, and purple, but also a lot of black, representative of Mexican colors.

Through this collection, I aim to show off a Western style from a Mexican perspective that supports the Latin community and expresses my admiration for my Mexican heritage.
