Attention Fashion Designers!
INSPIRARE is partnering with Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) to launch the Spring/Summer 2015 Design Competition. This collaboration aims to strengthen innovative fashion, support emerging designers and discover new talents. One winner will be selected and will receive a featured editorial in INSPIRARE magazine, as well as a sponsored runway show from VFW. The VFW package includes show passes, media promotion and full runway production.
INSPIRARE is a San Francisco based fashion e-commerce site for upcoming independent designers all over the world. It provides a platform for designers to showcase their work to the community, gain exposure and form a solid foundation from which to launch their label. INSPIRARE is worldwide, reaching to 50 different countries. It also has an online magazine with over two million in readership.
From September 15th-21st, Vancouver will see an influx of industry professionals, fashion conscious consumers and large media outlets, including: Vogue UK, Niche Magazine, BC Living, CBC World TV, L’Officiel, Glamour and Hush Magazine. Past partners include: Shopstyle, Covergirl, Pantene, Olay and Procter & Gamble.
We encourage graduate students and alumni to participate in this opportunity and have the chance to showcase their collection.
The deadline to enroll in the INSPIRARE Design Collection Competition for S/S 2015 Vancouver Fashion Week is: Midnight, PST, on June 25, 2014.
Competition Timeline:
June 24: Deadline to enroll and submit all deliverables.
June 25-30: INSPIRARE pre-selection of finalists.
June 27: Top 20 to be announced.
July 1: Five finalists to be announced.
July 1-6: VFW final selection
July 7: Winner will be announced
Sept 15-21: S/S 2015 Vancouver Fashion Week
