Last Saturday, prospective fashion students were given the opportunity to walk the halls of their future alma mater. The Academy of Art University hosted its school-wide Open House / Open Studio, transforming 625 Polk into five floors of invaluable industry insight to be shared with fashion’s up and coming influencers. Students were given the opportunity to participate in live model drawing workshops, try their hand at screen printing in the Textile lab, receive personalized feedback on their portfolios from school instructors and even style their own photo shoot as the top floor of the school was transformed into a live set, shot by photographer Jeffry Raposas.
We’ve shared a few highlights below of the future and former student work that was on display last weekend. Hope you enjoy and we look forward to seeing you this fall!
