It seems that the Pablo Picasso reign continues at San Francisco’s de Young Museum.
In June, the museum debuted “Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris” which includes more than 100 pieces including sculpture and works on paper from the permanent collection of the Musee National Picasso (is the recovered stolen piece a part of this exhibit?)
Anyways, at 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. Saturday July 30, the de Young will be hosting two must-see/listen lecture “Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso” and “Picasso to Pop: Liberation of 20th-Century Art.”
The lecture is free and takes place at Korvet Auditorium. The exhibit continues through October 9. For more information, go to deyoung.famsf.org.
