What if you could get inside the creative process at world’s brightest think-tanks?

Wonder no more. On February 6-9, 2017, top Bay Area innovators are holding open house sessions during the fifth edition of NewCo Festival. In what is becoming a great tradition, NewCo is seeking Academy students to play the vital role of social media ambassadors for this unique event. From Reddit to Pinterest, Uber to Bloomberg, over 140 companies based in in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose are organizing these meetups. Since 2015, NewCo Festival and Social Media Center at Academy of Art University have enjoyed a strategic partnership based on a shared educational concept of “open doors, open minds.” In the past, the organizers have highlighted work of our students giving them additional exposure and recognition. The festival has proven to be such a success, its model is now being replicated in 17 major hubs of creative and tech industries around the world, including Austin (Texas), Shanghai and Barcelona.

“NewCo and Social Media Center at the Academy of Art University both work to equip aspiring professionals with latest tools to manage their local vs. global outlook, reach and impact,” says Stephan Rabimov, director of the Social Media Center. “This is a great opportunity to practice what you know, acquire new skills, and enjoy the inspiring atmosphere!”
