Keanan Duffty to host “180 Degrees of Style” Fashion Symposium with Nigel Barker

As New York Fashion Week draws nearer it seems that everyone in the fashion industry is consumed with planning what shows and parties they’ll attend while in NYC. Don’t fill your calendar up too fast, though, because we have an event you won’t want to miss.

This year is a special one for Academy of Art University– not only does it mark our tenth year showing collections, but it will also be the first time that Academy of Art University will host a fashion symposium in advance of our runway show.

The symposium, entitled 180 Degrees of Style, will be held on September 6th at 3:00 PM at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts located at Lincoln Center. Keanan Duffty, Senior Director of Fashion Merchandising, will be joined by internationally renowned fashion photographer Nigel Barker for a discussion on their experiences in the fashion industry, building a brand, and key takeaways for success in the world of fashion.
