2013 Graduation Fashion Show Designer: Amanda Tran

Amanda Tran was born and raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from Clear Creek High School. She is currently earning her B.F.A. in Fashion Design from the Academy of Art University. Following H.R.H. Princess Reema Bandar Al-Saud‘s visit to the School of Fashion last May, Amanda was selected as one of six students to travel to Saudi Arabia and design a collection to be displayed at the Harvey Nichols Department Store in Riyadh. Winner of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Liz Claiborne Design Scholarship in 2012, Amanda took inspiration from her experiences in Saudi Arabia to create the silk chiffon and silver lame looks for her designs.
