This year’s CFDA Awards marked the 50th Anniversary of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and they certainly celebrated in style. The evening began with a fashion show highlighting iconic pieces from many of the CFDA’s 400-plus members. Comedic relief was provided by the evening’s host, Seth Meyers, who even poked fun at Marc Jacobs‘ Met Gala ensemble. Who ever said the fashion industry couldn’t laugh at themselves?
Paper Magazine dubbed the evening “the SAG Awards of fashion,” and we have to agree – it’s a wonderful evening of fashion insiders celebrating the work of their peers.
