Just a few weeks from now, the School of Fashion will travel to New York where select students will showcase their Spring 2014 Collections at the one and only Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. In addition to the fashion editors, influencers and VIP’s that will be front (row) and center on Friday September 6th, the Academy of Art University is inviting their online fashion students to view the show and attend exclusive Design and Merchandising Workshops while in New York.
All you have to do to confirm your reservation, is write! Online Fashion students can submit an essay of at least 500 words that addresses the below:
• Which aspect of the fashion industry do you believe is currently exhibiting the most exciting innovations and/or opportunities?
• Which of your talents align with your dream career in fashion?
• Provide examples of how you are preparing yourself for success.
