High Tech Fashion on Display, Tomorrow!

Remember last fall when Diane von Furstenberg debuted her Spring 2013 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week with the models accessorized with the Google glass to film the catwalk? Her runway marked a major event in the evolution of en vogue technology. Wearable tech is thought to be the next revolution in both apparel and electronics, and tomorrow night San Francisco based non-profit, CODAME, is celebrating this fashion/function forward union. CODAME produces festivals and events that bring together independent artists, coders, game developers, creators, performers, musicians and more to celebrate the intersection of art and tech.

Tomorrow CODAME FASHION+MUSIC will present an evening where fashion tech designers, entrepreneurial fashionistas, musicians, and visual artists come together in one space. Together at The Public Works SF, these pioneers in the fashion technology space will provide insights into their creative design processes and conduct live demonstrations of their groundbreaking pieces of technology enabled apparel. Infusions of music and visual artistry will complement these interactive presentations with performances by Keisuke Shingu, a.k.a. VJ KSKA, and STARPAUSE.

Click here to learn more about this night of high tech and haute design. School of Fashion students and friends of the University will receive a $5 Discount with promotional code: CODAME-LOVE. Hope to see you there!
