A Little Music for Your Friday has been on vacation for a few weeks, but it’s back with a very exciting offering! Fashion School Daily is proud to present the playlist that accompanied the Academy of Art University Fall ’13 Fashion Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
We’re always interested to see what music designers choose to accompany their collections. Selecting the right music for the runway can have a major impact on the mood of a show, and when it’s a perfect match, the effect is mesmerizing. These tracks were mixed live by our talented DJ Scott Ewalt, who curated a blend of soul, dub, funk, and techno that kept the audience excited as the collections hit the floor.
