2013 Graduation Fashion Show Designer: Didvik Kuang

Didvik Kuang was born in GuangDong, China, but graduated high school from Norwich Academy in Connecticut. Currently working towards his B.F.A. in Menswear Design from the Academy of Art University, Didvik’s graduation collection was inspired by the 1980’s, Giorgio Armani “American Gigolo” style, but with a more extreme lounge wear design a la Yohji Yamamoto. Using linen, blended wool, nylon and suede, Didvik created a collection that channels Richard Gere‘s leading man look with an almost pajama like aesthetic.
