2013 Graduation Fashion Show Designer: Grace Malla

Grace Malla is from Tempe, Arizona and graduated from the Marcos de Niza High School. She is currently earning her B.F.A. in Textile Design from the Academy of Art University. Following H.R.H. Princess Reema Bandar Al-Saud‘s visit to the School of Fashion last May, Grace was selected as one of six students to travel to Saudi Arabia and design a collection to be displayed at the Harvey Nichols Department Store in Riyadh. Grace collaborated with the other B.F.A. Fashion Design students in the program and provided all of the textile designs for the gowns inspired by the designers’ travels to Saudi Arabia last year. Grace’s textiles for the line embody the vibrance and spirit of the modern Saudi Arabian woman, as well as the landscape and textile designs of the country.
