Dejchat Sriyoopum made his first garment for a theatrical production in high school in Bangkok, Thailand. He received his B.F.A. in Fashion Design from Srinakharinwirot University and worked professionally as a designer and instructor before leaving to follow his dream of studying in the United States. Thai culture, architecture and strong women of the Victorian era inspire his women’s collection. The fabrics he used are taffeta, moiré, wool cashmere, alpaca, wool jersey and silk organza.
