In honor of the very captivating Richard Press documentary, Bill Cunningham: New York, fashion journalism students in the Magazine Production class (FSH 328) were asked to mimic Bill Cunningham‘s “On the Street” column; where he is essentially a street fashion anthropologist, photographing people in “natural” and candid moments. In the end, he compiles a layout of pictures that illustrate a prominent trend.
Students Jessica Velez, Alannah Macintyre, Jaclyn Smock, and Tatum Burrows Williams stepped in the shoes of Bill and “hunted” for trends on the streets of San Francisco. Check out the results below:
