A “global intersection of Fashion in San Francisco,” this five-day event will highlight both local and international Fashion designers, Beauty makers and Technology gurus. The Fashion shows, held in various prominent and total SF venues, will feature Couture, Ready to Wear, Sustainable and Wearable Technology designers. Be sure to dress to impress in suggested local designers for all #FCWSF events. Macy’s Front Row
Date: Sept. 16

Macy’s is pulling out all the stops for this annual event showcasing the hottest fall looks. Hosted by Kelly Osbourne, the runway show will feature fall looks from William Rast, INC and Tommy Hilfiger, plus Fashion Incubator San Francisco designers in residence, and “Project Runway” designers Jake Wall and Blake Patterson. Display your knowledge of fashion for this Front-Row event with the classic pair of “front-row sunglasses” coupled with a to-die-for long overcoat. The show is free but requires registration.

Benicia Fashion Runway Weekend

Know the seasons of America’s Next Top Model like the back of your hand?  Then you’ll certainly want to check out the Benicia Fashion Runway to see these familiar faces. Hosted and Emceed by #ANTM Jade Cole, the annual even will showcase designs from Project Runways, Project Runway All Star, and Under the Gun designers including Richard Hallmarq, Sonjia Williams, Fabio Costa, Layana Aguilar and Rey Ortiz. FashionArt Santa Cruz

On the 11th Anniversary of FashionArt Santa Cruz, 15 artist and 8 fashion designers will come together for a night to showcase works of wearable art. Unique designs, color display and irreplaceable looks will walk the runway at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. Immediately following the runway show, head outside for the parking lot turned Trunk Show where you can shop collections from various Santa Cruz artisans. Tickets can be found here.

QFW’s first year was such a success, the second year has expanded the fashion shows, presentations, conferences and workshops to five days of rainbow-filled glory. Hosted in the heart of the Marketplace at Jack London Square in Oakland, QFW’s events achieve their mission to promote diversity and the expression of individuality through fashion. From a panel on “Wearing Gender: Exploring Queer Style and Identity” to “Deconstruction: Fashion & Art Social Fashion Show,” QFW is guaranteed to inspire you to “express yourself, [not] repress yourself.” Tickets can be purchased here.

Fashion Fights Arthritis

Arts of Fashion Foundation Symposium & Competition

Step into the rendezvous of the current world of fashion through scholarly debates, Masterclasses, and the International Fashion Student Competition hosted by the Arts of Fashion Foundation. Thirty six Schools and Universities from 19 Countries will come to the heart of San Francisco to dive into the 2016 theme, “Unequal.” Fifty lucky up-and-coming designers will showcase their looks on the Runway at the SF Bently Reserve.
